Buy Your Groceries Online?

I like to use Amazon.com whenever I can for purchases. In general I have found that their prices tend to be about the same or lower than other places I might like to shop, and the site sells literally everything so I can truly purchase everything I need all at once without having to make several charges on my credit card bill or search through tons of different websites. A few weeks ago Amazon proved to me that they didn’t sell “everything” when they launched their new grocery section. When I had originally stated everything it never crossed my mind … Continue reading

Have You Been Introduced to Amazon.Com?

Probably the most innovative website I’ve ever encountered. Amazon.com is truly unique and definitely a one stop shopping place for the frugal of society who love to read or need a book for one thing or another. Recently I have been spending a great deal of time on Amazon.com. And being the frugal gal that I am, it’s the perfect place for me. I have no particular problem with purchasing something used, and will try desperately to find whatever I need used, if it can be found. Online Shopping: For Bridal Gowns?

Some people would never even consider shopping for a wedding gown online, while others find it a great alternative and a source of great discounts. Online shops frequently boast the fact that their gowns are 100% brand new and have never even been tried on by anyone else, which isn’t true of all dresses in brick and mortar stores. You can simply take your gown to someone local to have the alterations made. It does however help … Continue reading

If you aren’t married or your spouse happens to be unavailable, take a friend or a family member. If you have another person with you, you can simply say, “Give us a minute to talk about it,” so you the salesperson will leave you alone and give you a chance to think. Also, when it … Continue reading

My Dark Ebay Secret

Okay, I have a hard time admitting this. I know that many people will scoff and argue with me about my point of view, but I must admit that I really have never found a great bargain on Ebay. Or at least nearly never. It seems like more than ninety percent of the time, when I go to Ebay looking for a bargain on something, I end up disappointed at how much the items actually cost. I find myself thinking that I could get comparable items somewhere else for just as little or less. For instance, at Christmastime I was … Continue reading
