What’s Your Idea of Professional?

I have learned over the years that my ideas of “professional” and other people’s ideas about what “professional” means are not necessarily the same. It has been an interesting lesson to find that my expectations and classifications regarding what I think is appropriate business behavior doesn’t always mesh with customers, clients, colleagues and coworkers. Marriage & Religion

Do you and your spouse share the same religion? While it may not seem important to some people, to others the sharing and mingling of faith and belief is paramount to the success of a marriage. The Philosophy of Design

A rural California school district withdrew a high school philosophy class which explored religious beliefs of Creationism and Intelligent Design. The “Philosophy of Design” class was withdrawn after a lawsuit was filed by Americans United for Separation of Church and State, a Washington based group representing parents. My point of view as a teacher, Christian, and mother is that Intelligent Design and Creationism should not be taught in a science class. Yes, I believe in a creator. That is my belief.
