Annelise has a new favorite toy…the tags on anything within reach! I just put her down on her play mat with 5 toys/rattles hanging above her…but instead she rolled over to suck on the tag on the side of the mat ::) I was heading out to BRU today to buy more toys but guess I’ll just give her things with tags to keep her busy and to save moneyAugust 25, 2006 at 1:01 pm #560769

They make blankets, rags and toys that are called Taggies… I bet she would love them!!!August 25, 2006 at 1:23 pm #560791
There are about 20 tags on her play mat – meant to be played with – but instead she went right to the care tag. I think she’s learning to read I’ll look for a taggy blanket for her & see if that does the trick.August 25, 2006 at 2:01 pm #560825

Between tags and boxes- you’d think we’d learn not to go out and spend $$$ on fancy toys… just kidding! Annelise is such a cutie!August 26, 2006 at 12:49 pm #561603
I agree the kids love tags and boxes! My boys have played with the tags and boxes plenty of times.August 26, 2006 at 6:09 pm #561716
Court has a stuffed lion that jingles, and has a teether on it, but she does the same thing she chews on the tag. Silly kids, gotta love them!!August 26, 2006 at 6:47 pm #561751
Annelise has an elephant with teethers on each foot (paw?) But she hardly ever puts the teethers in her mouth – goes right for the trunk or tailAugust 26, 2006 at 7:43 pm #561806

This may sound shocking to you Cheryl, but I think Sophia may have the same teether
Her new favorite is this one by Sassy…I know it’s not a tag, but if she is starting with the teething this might help
Sassy Bumble Bites Teether
This teething bee will keep baby busy! Each wing has a different texture for baby to explore. Teether can be placed in the refrigerator to cool water-filled section. Recommended for ages Birth+. Approximate size: 3.75” x 4.5” x 1.25”.
The Bumble Bites Teether encourages development of communication skills through stimulation of the lips and tongue when baby explores the textures and shapes by mouth. Control of the lips and tongue is essential to the development of sound, and later, speech.
I thought this might be a MUST Have for Annelise due to the developmental benefits You can’t tell from the pic but the blue wing has to be pushed upwards and the bee starts “buzzing” it vibrates slightly which soothes the gums. It takes coordination, but Sophia just mastered itAugust 26, 2006 at 7:46 pm #561809
Carlee has that now!! She still sucks and licks on teethers and rattles if they are textured. They are great to increase sensory input!!!
