"Leave me Alone!-Don't Leave Me!" - Blog Entry

12 Jun 2008 12:26 AM

I remember the time when I got married. My mom told me, I'm really on my own this time. But as much as I love my freedom, I also want them to know that I am here and I need them too.

Yes, it is crazy. As a teen, I think I also went off like that. Unpredictable and wanting to be left alone. It must be the hormones I guess. I absolutely have no idea and I ask myself, I did that?

Great insight Kori. I hope you get through all the stress and anxiety.

Piecing Together Your Parenting Style from Various Influences - Blog Entry

11 Jun 2008 08:18 PM

Some people tell me to be strict about my son. But as I see it, it doesn't work that way for him. Instead, as I see it...this little man possess some wisdom that I even no longer have. A lot of parenting styles have been tried---from strict to lenient, to lenient to strict. This issue is very interesting as parents of all time struggle to decode this mystery.

But I guess, I would go for my intuition. Even if they tell me what to do with my child, it's simply just not the same for everyone. :)

Homosexuality: Inborn or Learned Behavior? (1) - Blog Entry

10 Jun 2008 10:49 PM

This is an interesting article, and I also remember reading an article similar to this in Time Magazine if I'm not mistaken. :) I think it's only fair to see this people in a different light and not regard them as sinful or that they have a mental illness. This study has given justice to gays. They deserve respect just as we do.

Respect and Staying Together - Blog Entry

I guess what most of the people should focus on is not wondering whether their relationship would last but focusing on the "now" and in the present. Enjoying your life in the present and focusing on all the good things in your relationship will somehow overturn whatever small things that's bugging you.

I think that what we fail to do is count our blessings and be thankful of each moment that passes by.

Guide to Baby Poop - Blog Entry

10 Jun 2008 04:45 PM

I remember freaking out whenever there's something "new" happening around me and my baby. As a new Mom, no one really told me a thing or two about how things are going to be, and in my circle of friends, I'm the first one to have a baby. This is a great article for new Moms.

Thanks for sharing this Mary Ann, I'd recommend this to new mommies I know. :)

The Adventures of Milo and Otis - Blog Entry

Hi Lyn, I think I might want to look it up in Amazon. I do hope that they still sell that DVD as my child and I (lol) will probably enjoy the rest of the film.

Yeah, I forgot the title of this other Japanese animation that also features a pack of dogs. No humans involved as well.

Thanks for introducing me to this film. I need something refreshing to see for the week.

Blasting Water Guns - Blog Entry

10 Jun 2008 03:31 PM

As a child, I love to play with water gun. It's fun to use especially when you're at a nearby pool or at the beach. I guess a little would do. :D

Sigh, summer is officially over here. The weather gets a little crazy sometimes---it's very hot in the mornings and it rains in the afternoons. :) I wonder how much a water gun costs now. Hmmmm....

Copied and pasted it into my notepad---and I also put in your name as my source.

Thank you, thank you for this wonderful idea. I'm having hard time thinking of what to cook next, or is there something special I have in mind.

Are We a Kid-Friendly Society or Not? - Blog Entry

I'm also wondering about this, Kori. People give you nasty looks when your baby is screaming hysterically at a restaurant. I mean, that's a baby! So much for "family-oriented" ideas. We always bring our boy to every occasions that we go. And if that means that we're not allowed to bring him, I say no thanks. :)
