But I do drink tap water at home in addition. I've been regularly bringing my bottled water to work. I still have my reusable water bottle (which looks more like an ice cream float glass). Using the bottled water is just more convenient for me, many times. But I don't re-use the 1-time use bottles. They go right into the recycling bin. My parents are from the same era as EP. I am the same age as EP's daughter. But I don't think Mom ever sang or played Elvis music around me. I can't figure it out. I did, however, spend over 2 months in the hospital as a newborn. People chip in, so it's not all from my budget. My co-workers really have sweet teeth! I think it may also be partly a comfort, as some days can be more stressful than others. I try to limit my own consumption to occasional small indulgences. Every October, churches hold these special "services". The animals are actually sprinkled with holy water and given a blessing by a priest. I don't have human kids, but this annual event is special for our family. I usually find a nice doggie shirt for him to wear for the occasion. :-) |
