Check on Rottenneighbor.com - Blog Entry29 Jun 2008 10:06 AM I'm curious to check out that site. Thanks, Mary Ann, for the great piece! Minimizing Your Wash Will Maximize Your Savings 3 - Blog Entry29 Jun 2008 07:52 AM I admire your devotion to wearing reasonably clean clothes multiple times. I haven't quite reached the level of commitment as you two. Usually for me, it's just a sweater, cardigan, sometimes trousers, and sweatshirts. When traveling, however, I usually do much better. I need to work harder on it at home. When Toothbrushes Don't Fit in the Holders - Blog Entry29 Jun 2008 07:36 AM Nah, I'm careful. I don't spray like a crazy woman. :-) A few sparing sprays and it's all good. I shut the door for a while afterwards as well. Create Easy Outdoor Dining - Blog Entry26 Jun 2008 04:46 PM LOL Toooo funny, Mary Ann! Or rather, TOE funny. Got any further ideas for outdoor dining, with a foot theme? I know, LOL, I sound nuts. But why NOT celebrate something like this with lots of humor?! :-) How about a Footyata? You know, like a pinata. Now, if I could just find foot-shaped candies.... When Toothbrushes Don't Fit in the Holders - Blog Entry26 Jun 2008 04:32 PM I do often spray Lysol around the toilet after flushing. But my toothbrush is tucked far away from the commode. Myth or not, I'm not taking any chances. When Toothbrushes Don't Fit in the Holders - Blog Entry24 Jun 2008 04:44 PM I heard that storing toothbrushes out in the open isn't good; when one flushes the toilet, germs you can't see float out and into the room, especially close to the commode, finding a home, among other places, on toothbrushes. Somewhere, there was a study done, which detailed what happens. I prefer to tuck my brush in a plastic holder and away in a closed cabinet. Create Easy Outdoor Dining - Blog Entry22 Jun 2008 12:03 PM This sounds like such a fun idea! Hopefully, once my foot heals more and I can get around better, I'll be able to try some outdoor dining, in maybe late summer. I'd love to have a "Celebrate My Newly-Improved Foot" party. LOL I've always admired the idea of outdoor dining. Thanks, Mary Ann, for the tips! Avoid These Garage Sales - Blog Entry22 Jun 2008 07:44 AM I'm not sure, but I think that in my state, it's illegal to open or put anything in people's mailboxes -- except of course, if you're an official mail carrier. I could be wrong. The flyer idea is good, if it's legal in your state/municipality. Where to Get Free Food - Blog Entry21 Jun 2008 01:00 PM I just might do that someday. I've actually thought of it. I love the authentic ballpark hot dogs. Maybe I could trade one of my old purses for a hot dog and a soda at a game. LOL Oh, I can dream, right? :-) Where to Get Free Food - Blog Entry21 Jun 2008 06:34 AM I'd love to go to some pro baseball games, but I wonder if I could barter with the team for behind home plate seats. A home-baked apple pie for each player, coach, security and grounds person? :-) Seriously, your idea is good. It sounds like something worth trying, thanks! For me, it's too bad I can't get boxes of Cheerios right off the farmers's leftover harvest. :-) |
