Yes, I do like the adult social aspect. However, in our little community the kids have a common area to play and my daughter has been playing there since she was three, with boundaries and supervision of course.

I wish that all kids could have this opportunity for a safe community (see last blog for ideas!).

Oh, I'm not very skilled. I do think it's a great skill to learn as a child, though - that way it's always natural and in the back of your brain, like riding a bike.

Ergos are wonderful. I got mine before they were popular here, and now they are everywhere. I loved our Patapum Toddler when my daughter was older, too. I took it on two international trips and she could nap in it on the train at 2 1/2 (she's very tall, too).
