Animals Have Emotions, Too - Blog Entry09 Dec 2008 09:33 AM yes they have emotions. silly to think they dont!most animals take better care and look over there babies and care for them better than some people I know. they have good days and bad days just like we do.Our mastiff Shadow knows if someone is not feeling good or bad ect.. and he watches the other dogs to make sure they arent making trouble or doing something they shouldnt be. Just a suggestion. good luck Cathy Ask a Pets Blogger: Crate Time - Blog Entry29 Nov 2008 09:28 AM ten hours is a long time. I have four dogs. non of them are crated, but I am home most of the time. If we leave for more than a few hours I put them in the garage which is heated, then we dont have to worry. If you could put him in a larger area I think that would be more comfortable. How about someone letting him out once or twice during the day.If he gets used to going to the bath room in the crate.....not good. Good luck and soon he will be old enough time hold it longer. but ten hours is alot of time in a crate for a young or old dog. Have a good day and congrats on your new doggie!!! |
