School occupies a good amount of a child’s life, from class and after school activities to building relationships and homework. It’s a time to grow and learn, a time to socialize and form relationships with peers. Needless to say, school is very important for kids of all ages, as it provides them with the discipline and social networking skills that they will need their entire lives. That said, it’s important for parents to know what’s going on in their child’s school; who the teachers are; how the school runs; what the school’s teaching philosophy and ethos is; basically everything about the school so that they can stay involved in their child’s lives and ensure that they can help them with their school work.

I absolutely agree with you… Parents should be more involved.
