Where should we go?

There are so many well-known places worth visitng that it's hard for me to recommend any others. Mount Vernon is a little off the beaten path but we found it well worth visiting.

We were very lucky in that my parents paid for my college and my husband's parents (he's one of nine) loaned him the money to go interest-free.

What is worth debt?

I'm with a lot of other posters. I would say a home and, in some situations, education. And of course healthcare if it became necessary. What a good discussion!
