Do You Have BOTH Juvenile Diabetes and Autism in Your Family?

My grandson, Timmy, was diagnosed with both autism and juvenile diabetes at 18 months. He also had GERD - gastrointestinal reflux disease- as an infant, and also has asthma. I am convinced there is a link between all of these diseases. They are all auto-immune. Please let me know if you know of any current research being done on this connection. Thanks.
