I love my laptop. Okay, so it’s not actually mine, it’s my son’s. But as the parent, I get first dibs when I need it. He saved for it and we kicked in the other two-thirds as a Christmas present. Router
A friend just built my daughter a computer as a gift. It’s wonderful! We now have four computers in our office. We opted not to let the kids have their computers in their bedrooms due to safety concerns. It works a lot better having everyone in the same room. My husband is somewhat of a computer geek and he set it up so they’re all linked together. I can share files with my kids, see everyone’s screens, and even work on the same projects. He did it using a wireless router. We, unfortunately, paid quite a bit more for it than the $4.99 after rebate deal that CompUSA is currently offering. Right now, the TRENDNet 54Mbps Wireless Firewall Router is on sale for $39.99. CompUSA has an eRebate for $15 off. On top of that, the manufacturer is offering a $20 rebate.
