“Ouch!” That’s me whining from nicking my shins because I’m using dh’s razor to shave my legs. “$%^&%*.” That’s dh hollering from nicking his face because my legs have dulled his razor. Does this sound familiar?
I wish I could say I’ve reformed and bought my own razors. But I haven’t. I don’t shave unless dh is taking me out on a date (call it bribery or whatever you want, but it works!). So spending $3.99 for something that’s going to rust out before it wears out goes against my nature. The pink ones always cut me up anyway.
Enter Noxema. The brand you’ve probably grown up with, washing away that teenaged oily skin and soothing away sunburns. They’ve come up with a shaving gel and razors just for women. The razors appear to be similar to the Mach-3 for men, which dh says is greatly superior to other handheld razors. It takes 4-6 weeks to get the sample, so I’ll let you know for certain when it shows up. The sample is for the 4-blade shaver, but they also have a 3-blade model.
The Noxema promo page is pretty interesting, but it’s geared toward those of you in the younger group. Maybe twenty-somethings shave more often! There are a few cartoon characters with backstories which some ad exec considers typical. The Shaving Tips page was actually interesting, though most of it is common sense.
