Meat and Sauerkraut Balls

8 ounces sausage meat, crumbled
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
14-ounce can sauerkraut, well drained and snipped
2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash of garlic salt
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 cup of breadcrumbs

In a skillet, cook the sausage and onion until meat is brown, and then drain. Add sauerkraut and 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir into sauerkraut mixture and chill. Shape into small balls, followed by coating with flour. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, adding in the milk. Dip meat and cheese balls into egg mixture, rolling into breadcrumbs. Deep-fry 1 to 2 minutes to brown. Then, bake on a cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
