Because we’re owned by and attached to a veterinarian’s office, the staff at the cats-only boarding facility is trained to do some unusual things. So, Sunday, I had the opportunity to teach sharing time in my ward. The topic was honesty, yet with pioneer day being two days away, I wanted to do something to talk about the pioneers too. There are always exceptions to any rule. Statistics can give a general pattern of society’s trends but there are always those that defy the odds and do not fit the general pattern. Today I was supposed to show you my scrap room, and I actually could. I worked really hard to get things sorted, picked up and put away organized instead of just in a huge pile, or shoved in various drawers and other spots. School uniforms will likely always be a controversial topic in education. Those who support uniforms usually discuss how wearing the same clothing takes away from peer pressure. Those who oppose of school uniforms are concerned about the students losing their identity and individuality. A study about students wearing uniforms was conducted at Oxford Brookes University. The study was conducted with 13 to 17 year old students in the Oxford area. The study found that wearing school uniforms improves student behavior.
