A Few Good Pregnancy Books

I have always been into reading, but during pregnancy I was even more so. Especially during my first pregnancy – you know, before I had a little one to take care of and had more time available for reading. I read a lot of things, and like many pregnant women, I spent a lot of time reading about pregnancy and childbirth. There are a lot of books on pregnancy and childbirth out there to choose from. If you have a lot of time on your hands, feel free to explore any and all of them. If time is at a … Continue reading

When to Worry About Spotting in Pregnancy

Realizing you are spotting is one of the scariest moments in a pregnancy. It immediately brings fear of miscarriage to mind. However, there are several causes of spotting in pregnancy. Tips For Reusing Digital Elements

There is a definite perk to creating scrapbook layouts digitally. Among the cost of the items being much less, the ability to reuse items is an added bonus which I feel adds to the whole frugal scrapbooking thing. However, I was surprised to learn that many digital scrapbookers do not know how to reuse their elements and feel as if they will be creating the same layout over and over if they use the embellishments again. This causes them to purchase more and more kits of similar items that are slightly changed in appearance. This is not even close to … Continue reading

Resolutions for a Yappy New Year

Happy New Year! (Or as Murph would say, “Yappy!”) I’m changing things up this year. Instead of making my resolutions right before the New Year starts, I’m making them right as the New Year starts. Even before I took stock of 2007, I was thinking a lot about resolutions and what I want to accomplish in 2008. Therein lies the problem. I never have any shortage of goals. If anything, I have way too many. So I’m going to try and keep it simple this year. Resolutions re Writing in the Pets Blog • To be more like these fellow … Continue reading

Feasting on the Word

How is your personal scripture study going? Are you just struggling to find the time to read each day or are you taking the time to truly feast on the scriptures? Once you have established a habit of personal scripture study it is important to improve the way that you study. You can learn so much from the scriptures. Do You Serve Religion or Christ?

This is a really a topic that you must know I write with the best intentions. I’ve blogged such topics as Religion vs. Faith, False Teachers, Sunday Christians and The Occult, just to name a few. But today I really want to view a slightly different facet; I want to address the definition of Christianity and touch on people’s fascination with religion. There is real danger in getting wrapped up in a religious mindset. Consider this blog the tie that binds the blogs I’ve mentioned. To be honest with you, I’m not sure what to even call myself anymore. I’m … Continue reading
