The first step in being able to stand as a witness of Christ is to understand what Christ taught us. It is important to study His teachings. You can learn about Christ through daily study of the scriptures. As thoughts and feelings come to you, you can pray to learn how His teachings apply to your life.
In standing as a witness for Christ it is important to follow His example. Christ led a perfect life. He was compassionate to the poor and the needy. He reached out to those in need of spiritual healing as well as physical healing. While we cannot live a perfect life, it is important to do the best that we can. It is important to reach out to those around us, and to help when we can.
One of the best ways to stand as a witness of Christ is to live your life in such a way that others come to know Christ because of the way that you behave. This can be through the small acts of service and kindness. It may be because you are willing to forgive someone who has wronged you. It may also be because of the peace that you carry with you. As they ask you why you are able to do these things, you can bear your testimony of Christ and the ways that He has helped you.
There may be times when we are called on to testify of our beliefs. The time may come when you need to explain why you believe in Christ, or what you know of the Atonement.
