He had syphillis, which makes you insane if not treated. Couple that with the fact that he was plain evil, and you end up with a man like Hitler. I don't find Will's statement to be offensive at all -- he's actually right on. Hitler firmly believed to his dying day that his methods were just and right. He was oh, so extremely wrong, but in his own mind, he was doing what was right. Co-sleeping is a safe practice and is actually very beneficial to the mother and the baby. There have been cases of drug and alcohol abuse, but those aren't the norm. I have known people who have had children die from SIDS, and every one of them were in a crib when it happened. I say, do what you feel in your gut is right. I choose to co-sleep. I can't sleep if the baby isn't right next to me, and we've had wonderful experiences with it.
