I wonder why that is, Lisa. I crave ice and salted sunflower seeds.

Gospel Questions: What If I Want to Leave the Church? - Blog Entry

The very first thing I would do would be to help her reconnect with the feelings of the Spirit that first inspired her to convert. Then, using that Spirit, I would ask her to pray earnestly about her own individual worth and to seek confirmation through prayer of just how very much she is loved by our Heavenly Father. I believe that we all go through severe trials in our lives, and that it's the relationship we develop with Heavenly Father that sees us through them. He truly does love us so much, and once we get a testimony of that fact, everything else has an easier time falling into place.

I have no idea. I certainly don't get it. I was gone all day today and when I came home, my kids greeted me with so much love and excitement -- how could you want to miss out on that kind of love?

Wow. I'm a bit mind-boggled. They are under no obligation to teach the children.

That may have to sink in for a minute.

My niece has some learning difficulties and is enrolled in a life skills class where they do go to schools as part of their class time. So there are some publicly schooled children who go to the store.

Man, I'm so impressed you didn't just pop her one. And way to go that your kids innocently showed that woman where the bear lives. They didn't mean to be impressive, but they did, and she'll never forget that comeuppance!

I do have to ask, though, why do mothers need to keep their private lives separate from their children? And, if I can also ask, do we consider going to the grocery store part of private life? If that's all the private life I get, I'm really deprived!
