Make Weight Loss a Family Affair - Blog Entry

Another thing, too -- if you have weight problems, your children are more than likely going to have them as well. It's genetic and it's environmental, and if they have your genes and live in your environment, they may end up facing the same weight issues. If you teach them now how to eat correctly, and that it can be fun, you can help them stave off some of the trials you've had to go through. What a great gift to give your children!

Good point, Nola -- and checking in each day will help us stay away from things that would cause greater separation from the Spirit later.

Hypothyroidism - Blog Entry

27 Jul 2007 01:01 PM

I've had this nearly my whole life, diagnosed when I was ten. One thing to keep in mind, even though the blood test may say that your thyroid is working fine, doesn't mean it is. See if you can find a doctor who will listen to all your symptoms and go from there. The testing isn't always as accurate as it should be.

Hmmm -- we'll probably see this movie but I'm *so* not a rat person.
