When we had our first child, my husband, who is a jogging enthusiast, tried taking her jogging in a regular stroller. We ruined three of them. Then we got a jogging stroller, and it really makes all the difference. The shock absorption is great, too. And there's another thing -- the handle is higher, so even if you're just walking and not jogging, you don't have to hunch all over just to push the thing.

I think too that we tend to view callings as popularity contests. That's not how it should be -- we are put in the callings we need to be in. They don't give the "best" callings to the most "popular" women. I know people whose feelings have been hurt because they thought no one liked them because they didn't get a certain call.

I like working out to videos because then, no one can see me. :) I'm in my own house, and if I wiggle like a bowl full of jelly, I'm not embarrassed that the hunk on the next machine can see me. I have several of Richard Simmons' tapes -- I like them because he uses overweight people for his dancers and not super skinny ones. It makes me feel better.

That's just wrong. I'm so sick and tired of celebrities thinking they can do whatever they want to, and then not getting punished for it because they're famous. I think that the judges should make sure not to let them off, because they're so much in the public eye, and our kids need to understand that there are consequences to actions.

You know, if it's only for a few hours and there's money exchanged, that sure sounds like prostitution to me. What's in it for the woman? Money. What's in it for the man? Gratification. There's no committment, which is what marriage is for.

Sounds to me like they've made marriage too political and now they're having to dig out of it.

This is going to sound really evil, but I actually feel more connected to the Doctrine and Covenants than I do to the Book of Mormon. I believe them both to be true, but I seem to find the D&C more . . . I don't know how to describe it, but it "speaks" to me in a different way.
