That does sound painful, Aimee! And you're right, stitches there would have been joyful. :)

As an update, I had the stitches taken out this morning and I'm good to go. The doctor said that it will take about a year for the scar to fade away, but that within three months it will turn to skin color as opposed to the pink it is now. But I can't see it, so it doesn't matter to me what color it is.

I read an interesting booklet by author Shirley Bahlmann about dairy. It's called "Holy Cow: The Udderly Amazing Power of Dairy in Your Diet." You can find it if you google it.

I have to watch my own dairy intake, and I really enjoy the Tofutti "ice cream" sandwiches. They're really yummy. Now I want some!!
