It is an excellent read. I do reiterate my comment that it's not easy, but I think you'll find that it's well worth it.

I don't blame you one bit -- there is a lot of stuff out there that's not worth watching. On the other hand, there are a lot of good quality films to be found, and that's our purpose here: to help you find ones you just might enjoy.

As far as reading goes, be sure to check out the blogs posted in media reviews. We try to cover a wide range of reading styles and maybe you'll find something there that they will like.

My mom hates "Sunrise, Sunset" because it always makes her cry! You bet; the movies will keep on a'comin'.

Back to the Future Part III - Blog Entry

I really liked the first installment, but when it came time for part two and three, I hada hard time understanding the whole time continuum thing. Is this just one of those things I need to sit back and enjoy without trying too hard to figure it out?

Oh, do I ever know what you mean. It seems that there is always someone who doesn't get the point and in some way disrupts the spirit of the meeting. Thank you for breaking it up into easy chunks, Alison. I've been looking at my health and wanting to make some positive changes, but it's pretty overwhelming.

Arsenic and Old Lace: Classic Black Comedy - Blog Entry

You know, I'm almost thinking that I would classify this as a dark comedy, rather than a black one, but I'm totally with you on how wonderful it is. By far, one of the best movies ever made.
