Is There a "Best Time" for Bed Time?

02 Jun 2008 11:44 PM

In answer to your question, is there a best time, I would have to say that the child's bedtime should be in direct corelation with the time when the parents have had enough. :)

That Midnight Kiss(1949)

Yeah, I knew that about Purdom -- apparently not only was Lanza too overweight, but he'd had a huge fight with the producer, too.

We had the soundtrack for "The Student Prince," so I was familiar with Lanza's voice, but this is the first time I've seen him in a movie. He was quite the charmer!

Why So Many Parents Homeschool "Problem" Children

30 May 2008 02:20 PM

Holy cow. I can't believe those teachers would do such things.

I don't have any autistic children, but from what I understand, too much stimulus can be difficult for them. Of course that would explain why they might act out in public school -- that's a whole lot of stimulus, all at the same time.

My kids are all challenged in different ways, from learning how to communicate briefly to maintaning focus while studying. I'm glad I can school them at home and work with each of these areas in a private setting where they won't run the risk of being ridiculed.

Supernanny Reaches out to Britney Spears and Where You Can Buy Bill Cosby's Sweaters

30 May 2008 12:16 PM

Maybe this is really hard-hearted of me, but I think it's time for everyone to stop trying to "save" Spears and just let her get to the point where she's ready to make the changes she needs to make. All this do-gooding isn't going to do any good unless she wakes up and gets real.
