Scientology's Big Payday and Another Celeb Visits the Psych Ward

01 Feb 2008 09:50 AM

That is a little odd, awards for religious donations. Sort of like Friends of the Library or something.

I would actually like to hear someone discuss the beliefs behind Scientology -- everytime I've heard it mentioned, it's usually pretty hyper and I haven't figured out the doctrinal angle to it.

Actor Impregnates His Children's Former Nanny and Montel's Show Fizzles Out

01 Feb 2008 09:45 AM

You know, as far as Montel goes, I really feel that in light of his illness, he was looking for a higher power or something to give a foundation to his situation and that's why he kept calling in the psychic. As far as Ethan goes . . . sheesh. You know how many men in this world would kill to be married to Uma Thurman?

In Honor of President Gordon B Hinckley

I loved President Hinckley. He was so kind, so good, so loving -- you could see it in his face. His passing is hard but I know he was greeted with rejoicing on the other side.

Let's Talk About Having a Bicornuate Uterus

26 Jan 2008 12:19 PM

Wow -- so that's what my condition is called!

I had three children at home with a midwife with no complications at all and I never suspected there was anything wrong with me. Baby #4 was breech and would not turn, so I went in for a c-section and they told me my uterus was heart-shaped and that the baby had gotten hung up and couldn't turn. All my children are completely healthy and I've never had problems with fertility -- I'm seeing now, after reading this article, that there's a lot more that could have gone wrong. I'm so glad it didn't!

Heath Ledger and Mary Kate Olsen More Than "Just Friends"

She was probably in shock -- I don't know for sure that I'd react rationally in a situation like that.

I didn't know they'd been dating. I need to hang out in popular culture more often. :)
