Walk the Line (2005)

It would have been nice if they'd shown more of that -- I can't help but wonder if they were worried about mixing religion and Hollywood. He was a spiritual man and that's probably what helped him the most through his difficulties.

I'm going to have to rent it and see it again -- I just remember that one scene. I know I liked it, though. :)

I love Dan. His "Innocent Age" album is one of my all-time favorites. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

It is definitely powerful and one of my favorites, for sure.

Do You Have a License to Wed?

I watched this movie the other night and did find it sad that there was so much interference in their relationship. At the end the groom says, "We never would have gotten here without you." Well, he caused most of their problems! It was just very convoluted.

Dale, is that the one where she can't walk and has to be held up while she sings? I remember seeing that when I was about eight or ten.

What Husbands Want When it Comes to Sex

14 Jan 2008 01:14 PM

I think wives like to be romantic spontaneously, too. It's fun and unexpected, and brings a bit of the spark back into the relationship. But there are times when you simply can't sneak off to the bedroom. If both the husband and the wife were to be more aware of what the other is doing, then they would know the best times to snuggle up and whisper in the ear. While changing a diaper doesn't work. While frying chicken doesn't work. While folding laundry works. It's all about finding a good moment that is actually feasible. If my husband were to suggest that we sneak away while I was in the middle of bandaging a cut knee, I think I'd have to say no. :)

Dealing with Growing Pains

I remember having really bad leg pain as a child. This explains a lot!

Oh, and I thought Kirk was pretty cute too. :)

Hidalgo (2004)

He's interesting for a quite variety of reasons, including the fact that he's very nice looking. But my husband knows I think so and is fine with it. :)
