Will Smith's Hitler Comment Brouhaha28 Dec 2007 11:19 AM From a historical standpoint, Hitler really did believe that what he was doing was right -- that's part of what makes him so creepy; everything he did, he totally believed in, but he was literally insane. He had syphillis, which makes you insane if not treated. Couple that with the fact that he was plain evil, and you end up with a man like Hitler. I don't find Will's statement to be offensive at all -- he's actually right on. Hitler firmly believed to his dying day that his methods were just and right. He was oh, so extremely wrong, but in his own mind, he was doing what was right. Is SIDS Really Caused by Co-Sleeping?26 Dec 2007 11:13 AM I firmly believe that any study can be skewed to show the results that the researchers want to show. Co-sleeping is a safe practice and is actually very beneficial to the mother and the baby. There have been cases of drug and alcohol abuse, but those aren't the norm. I have known people who have had children die from SIDS, and every one of them were in a crib when it happened. I say, do what you feel in your gut is right. I choose to co-sleep.
