In Laws?

Maybe you could talk to your wife about combining birthday celebrations. My siblings have birthdays on January 19, 31st and February 14th, with an in-law on February 6th.

do you put your children to bed early

Your kids do get up earlier than most kids 6:30am is pretty early. My girls 4 and 6 are in bed by 8:00 and up at 7:00. My son is 8 and gets to stay up until 8:30.

How Close?

My first two were 2 years 4 months apart although they would have been 2 years if I hadn't had a miscarriage. My second and third are 19 months apart.

Should You Request a Teacher for Your Child?

I haven't ever requested a teacher, but I have requested that certain children not be in my son's class. He had a problem with a child bullying him and I didn't want them in the same classroom.

Suggestions please..

Being on the phone can make things difficult. I work from home as well, but it's all online. I suggest making a sign that you put up that signals you are on the phone and can't be interrupted.

I actually agree with Jadis. I think it's a waste of money. Many parents buy cell phones for their college students using a family plan, especially if they are far away.

I guess you have to decide if getting away with your husband is more important than not leaving your children with some one else. There has to be someone you would trust with them.
