Make a List and Check It Twice - Blog Entry

I certainly don't judge anyone else's method but I have to say. . .I hope my children are never so ingracious as to want to take their stuff back!!! They have a lot and are blessed and if they happen to not like something they get. . .they need to suck it up. LOL With that said, we often get our neices and nephews gift cards to somewhere! ;-)

Some More Thoughts on Homeschooling More Than One - Blog Entry

24 Nov 2007 04:40 PM

I think it can be really hard to break out of that box and way of thinking. After all, that's how we were schooled (or at least most of us) and we have tons and tons of curriculum options all being thrown at us. I think in so many ways it makes sense. But then you get to a point where you realize in how many different ways your kids learn and that it doesn't have to stay 'in the books'. And you start to watch other people do it differently and other people who have been doing it differently. . .and then you realize all roads lead to Rome.

I'm going to write about my daughter's first two years of homeschooling. . .I think it's an article you'd be interested in reading. ;-)

Black Friday or Buy Nothing Day? - Blog Entry

I cannot imagine getting up at 4am. In fact I refuse to do it. I get up when I get up. . .which granted, is about 5am. But I do get in time to get extra door busters. . .if they're on the list! ;-) I don't save anything that's "essential" until that day. . .if I'm going to be heart broken not to have the item. . .it gets purchased well before Christmas.

I do have to say though, I got t-shirts for our whole family yesterday for $4 to $6 bucks a piece. ;-) And for the twins whole outfits for $7 each. Totally not Christmas presents but needed none the less. ;-)

What To Do With Half a Can of Pumpkin - Blog Entry

I don't know. . .or if it happens to be that anything with a whole can of pumpkin. . .other than pie. . .is just too much pumpkin? You'd think maybe they'd make cans more consistent with their recipes measurements. Oh well. ;-)

The End You Cannot See - Blog Entry

She is the one who really should be giving the music lessons! LOL You would've loved the concert. What a testimony to have a young lady at a secular college, studying under an aetheist professor and then to see her produce as her senior project something that clearly stated it was inspired by Scripture. It was a really good concert. . .I took Lizzy and thought about inviting you guys but you were doing something.
