I won't allow my children to date. I think it has much more to do with one's training from their parents than it does to do with uncontrollable urges. Self control can be taught, as can respect for authority, as can certain rules about dating and relationships. Personally, we will not allow our children to date because we feel that it tarnishes the marital relationship later in life. It leaves one emotionally in parts rather than in a whole. We expect our children to approach marriage with an entirely different mind set than most people do. But thanks for your comment.

Isn't this scary? I was a little shocked I must say but amused at the same time to think anyone would believe it and go out and give their kids soda. . .and caffeinated soda no less.

Yeah. . .I had to teach my 6 year old to tell people he did school at home as opposed to, "I just have fun at home all day. I don't really do school." Ahem. . .that one got us in trouble with social services in the emergency room once! LOL

So sad. . .I also have to say too that it's clearly a ploy. Orphanages in developing countries are full of children who are not truly orphaned. I just read this morning about something how the papers stated that she had living relatives. . .but that doesn't mean she's not orphaned. That child was nearly dead when she took her. . .where was the family then?

They rot just like any other fruit. (I mean you'd see if they were yucky and bad and inedible.) Try slicing one and looking at the inside to see if it looks normal! ;-)
