Ha Ha, I know Fran it is not easy to give up those comfort foods. I am really trying to eat more healthy these days, and in trying to plan my dinner tonight, I thought that a potatoe dish would be nice, but I don't want the extra carbs, so I decided on fresh pinapple instead. Those potatoes sure would have been nice... :)

My Rotweiller Brownie made a dashing escape out the front door yesterday for the first time in several years. I was so stunned that I just watched her run for a second before calling her. She did not come back on her own free will. In fact after I caught her and my breath I told her "That was bad" and she laid down in the driveway and would not budge! I had to bribe her to get all 105 lbs inside.

I recently watched "Honey We are Killing the Kids" and it was a real eye opener. My children are not obese, but we all eat entirely too much junk food. After watching the show I wanted to do sit ups, and even my oldest who watched with us willingly got carrots for his snack!

I think the key to successful dating is getting to really know the person before making a long-term committment regardless of where you met. I am glad the online dating services are now offereing counseling and long term help for relationships.
