Think of the advertising they've lost. They don't want to be just one of the brands she wears - they want to be the ONLY brand. I'm sure they're paying a princely sum for that right. Cervical Cancer Vaccine - Blog Entry07 Feb 2007 04:52 PM There's an interesting article on the Web about Texas' new law REQUIRING this vaccination for girls in 6th grade public school (parents have to sign a religious exemption or conflict of conscience form to opt out). Even though the majority of the public polled didn't want the *mandatory* vaccination, Gov. Rick Perry issued an executive order. What I find really interesting is that his former chief of staff (Mike Toomey) is a sernior lobbyist for the company that makes the vaccine.
