Call me cynical, but my first reaction is either (a) the father saw an opportunity for $$, or (b) the Tigger was defending himself.

When we were teens, Disneyland was our babysitter. We all had annual passes. I can't count the number of times I watched a character being abused by kids who thought it was funny to kick his tail, rack him, or 'accidentally' knock him over.

I think that sometimes the reason is not necessarily racism, but that the parents don't plan to tell the children right away that they're adopted. A little difficult to do that when your baby looks nothing like you!

Thanks for this article. I would never have guessed that foreign adoptions included babies from the US!

It's bizarre. Obviously, the guy has no weight problems! Will the next push be on immodest clothing --WARNING: May cause men not to pay attention to your face? Or on petite sizes -- WARNING: Your size may cause you to be overlooked. Gain some weight! :-)

We bought my son a laptop two years ago -- when he was 12. Though it was supposedly for school, it's more often used to access GuildWars. So far, he's been pretty responsible with it, but frankly, for a thousand bucks, we could've gotten much more useful things.
