One additional way to educate parents and caregivers is to let them know that it's OKAY for a baby to cry. My husband said he always chuckled inside and knew when it had been a rough day because the trash had been taken out. It's OKAY to secure a crying baby whose needs have been met, and walk away to the mailbox or the trashcan for a breather. Sometimes crying is JUST crying.
