Part of the reason that we haven't tested ours is that I'm not entirely sure it wouldn't in some small way change how I look at them. What if my 'normal' son tests higher than the brilliant one? What if my daughter's IQ isn't really as high as I think it is? What if it's *gasp* higher than mine? ;-) What if ALL of theirs are higher than mine? They can test when they're adults, if they want to join the Triple Nines or something. Otherwise, what's the point? Same as when people are late -- if they have children under 5, it's completely forgivable and usually expected due to a last minute diaper change, accident on the floor, owwies, etc. LOL. It gets SO much easier when the little ones get bigger (though I really DO miss having babies around here!). Andrea, you are so blessed to have a housekeeper! We do have a rumpus room that is rarely as tidy as I'd like, but my dh would have a fit if the house wasn't clean when he got home. Chores first, THEN homeschooling. Whistle and it whistles back to you. Much better than having the chip! The only problem is that whenever my son talks near it, it goes off because his voice is changing ;-). Can you opt out of the smart key when you buy the vehicle? Or is it the only key possible?
