It doesn't matter if you are paying "rent" there, that is her house and I am sure you don't have a contract or anything. I sure wish I would have met my Great-Grandmother. Well, You Just Never Know: A Few Good Men - Blog Entry16 Dec 2008 05:51 PM As usual, hollywood can't even get a true story correct. "Saturday Night Live" Skit + New York Governor = Controversy - Blog Entry16 Dec 2008 05:43 PM I did not see the show, but you can not have equality if you can't be made fun of. My question would be, who or what can be made fun of? Tom Cruise Regretful of 'Glib' Comment - Blog Entry16 Dec 2008 05:37 PM All he was doing was promoting his movie, I think after 4 years to say anything is just wasted breath. I will definitely never watch another of his movies again. Is It Cost Effective to Bring a School Lunch? - Blog Entry10 Dec 2008 05:24 PM Pack their lunch, then you know what they are eating. And make sure they are told to bring back anything they don't eat so you know what not to buy for their lunches. What to Do When You Can't Afford Preschool - Blog Entry10 Dec 2008 04:19 PM People wonder why the drop out rate is so high now a days. These kids are basically going to school for 2 more years and learning a lot more stuff than we did. By the time they get to 16 or 17 they are burned out. I wish they would just teach them what we were taught. It would enable them to be ready for society and probably wouldn't cost as much. Frugal Christmas Tree Ornaments - Blog Entry08 Dec 2008 06:49 PM We used our son's small toys for one Christmas. We had first put up the bulbs and stuff and he kept pulling them off. Some were not really great for him to get a hold of. We just tied some ribbon on them and made a small loop to put on the end of the branch. At the end of each nite when he went to bed, we just picked them up and put them back on the tree. State College Costs Unaffordable - Blog Entry08 Dec 2008 06:35 PM The public colleges are run by the government, financial aid is usually through the government. So you borrow money from the government to pay the government, does this make sense. I remember when I went to college back in the early 80's my freshman year was $3,000.00 and that was for tuition and room and board. The books and other things I had to work for during the school year. I don't know what the difference is between now and then, but it must have surely changed a lot. What's Up with Zoos Considering Evicting Their Residents? - Blog Entry05 Dec 2008 08:34 PM There is a big question if polar bears are really in trouble, the evidence and stories of them are some times far fetch. Just like that picture of the polar bears on the broken piece of ice, the story was false. With the economy the way it is and zoo's and such not on the priority list, they are probably going to go away. Sorry to say. 1 2 |
