Son's first volunteer activity

I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great time at my wife's Mother and Fathers house. My wife always goes the night before to help cook the ham and get everything ready for us camp followers to folly. Every year for Thanksgiving I go to the USO and pick up there coolers and go get ice at my secret ice making machine. The Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Retirees and there families come to get a special meal that is mostly donated by the community. The Retired Military members do an outstanding job of cooking the turkeys and hams plus all the other stuff for Thanksgiving. Everybody brings in desserts from around the community.

Well the exciting thing during the whole day for me was my 4 year old son got to help me get the ice. This will definately be one of the highlights of my year. My son had a good time and he got to see Miss Judy again, we don't get to see her that much any more.

Well this means that he can help out at the Christmas dinner and we can find the time to help our Military the best we can.
