My daughter-in-law has adult ADD. This poor girl can't keep her mind on something for more than ten seconds. She also has anxiety attacks. She neglected and abused as a child. I don't know how to help her. Hopefully, reading and understanding information will help me help her.

Negotiation is the Key to a Successful Relationship - Blog Entry

03 May 2007 07:08 PM

Marriage is not what it used to be. My husband left when he found out I have MS. So much for sickness and health. He never helped me out with the household bills when we were together and I was still working. So much f for richer or poorer. He needed to have a thick social life, and I was not included in it. So much for marriage. I wouldn't do it again.

Benefit from Plastic Grocery Bags - Blog Entry

I love plastic grocery bags. I use them to line trash cans, take them to the beach when we are collecting shells, store items to be packed away, and I a pastle of them in the car for those all to often car cleaning days. They are gre great for carrying fish home from the ole fishing hole, they make great packing material, and they are a great donation to the local Goodwill and Salvation Army for their customers.

Frugal Living Week In Review for April 23rd to April 29th, 2007 - Blog Entry

03 May 2007 07:02 PM

I am forced to be a frugal person. I have MS and live on SSDI. If that doesn't teach you to be frugal, nothing does. There is barely enough money to eek out a life as it is, and wasting is not in my vocabulary anymore. I have learned to cook better, make things stretch longer, and, believe it or not, eat better. A bag of apples and oranges is a lot cheaper in the long run than cake, and it's a lot healthier.

To Declaw or Not to Declaw, That is the Question - Blog Entry

03 May 2007 06:59 PM

I have been thinking about getting a kitten. It has been a lot of years since I had one. My cat will be an indoor only cat, therefore, she will be declawed. I can love her a lot longer if my curtains are not shreaded. I can love her a lot longer if she doesn't dig my legs when she is on my lap. I can keep her a lot longer if she doesn't claw my grandson and my son finds out about it. I love cats. I do whatever needs to be done for the cat's comfort as well as my comfort.

They Just Joined For The Education - Blog Entry

My son joined the Army because he felt it was his duty to defend his country. I was Navy, his daddy was Marine Corps. He was a military kid that talked about joining the Army from the age 3. He is proud to be a paratrooper, proud to serve in Iraq, and hopes to make the Army his career. He never talks about joining for the education benefits, but he does hope to learn all he can, whether it be from the Army directly or going to school.

Budgeting Options for Variable Expenses - Blog Entry

03 May 2007 06:29 PM

Try to get bills put into a budget plan. My electric bill is the same every month. Most of my other bills are the same way now. I put all my credit debt into Freedom Point. Now, I have no credit cards to use, but if I need something, I save money until I can afford the product. It takes a little to get what I am after, but in the long run, it costs me a lot less, and I don't have to worry about how I am going to pay the credit card bills. Works for me.
