The 2-weeks before my LapBand surgery

Ok, I promised I would talk about my 80 pound weightloss journey. As I said, I had the Lapband procedure done in April 07, so two years ago. Wow! I'm just realizing how fast time has gone by since having my surgery. Anyhow, the two weeks before my surgery were the hardest part of the journey.

I lost 80 pounds with LapBand

After years of being overweight, I did some research on the LapBand surgery and thought that it would be ideal for me. I didn't want to go the gastric bypass route simply because I wasn't too keen on changing the the anatomy of my original stomach. I got the surgery in April 2007, and now 2 years later I'm happy to report I'm 80 pounds lighter .
