Mission: Space has now has a no G-Force experience as well as the original experience: http://disney.families.com/blog/mission-space-becomes-more-accessible-to-all-riders As for now, the investigation on the boy is still pending and an autopsy is to be performed. I've ridden the ride myself many times and, while not for someone with a heart condition or other underlying medical condition, the ride is tame when compared to many of the rides at Six Flags or even Universal Studios. A horrible loss and my heart goes out to the family. I will try to keep tabs on the situation within the Disney (Unofficial) Blog. Disneyland and Special Needs Families - Blog Entry19 Jun 2006 01:40 PM Fantastic blog! I'm going to find some way to link to this within the Disney blog. Ray Romano: Does Everyone Really Love Him? - Blog Entry17 Jun 2006 05:30 PM I love the suitcase on the stairs episode! That was such a fantastic sitcoms and one of the last sitcomes to actually work using the standard sitcom format. Freelance Writing: Outline of a Query Letter - Blog Entry21 Apr 2006 05:03 PM Great article. I think everyone hates the idea of querying. I still do. Doris Roberts: The Mother-In-Law From Hell! - Blog Entry21 Apr 2006 04:44 PM I love, love, love her on Everybody Loves Raymond. A very nice version of my grandmother. Seriously. What is a "Traditional" Family? - Blog Entry17 Apr 2006 10:47 PM Exactly. The kids weren't catalog cute, either. The Cosbys always had these beautiful children and such superficial problems. And though you can't really put Full House in the same category as The Cosby Show, the sitcom was plagued with the same trivial plots. There were plots right out of Roseanne that happened with my family. Of course, the same could be said for Everybody Loves Raymond. Marie Barone was a NICE rendition of my own grandmother. Gilmore Girls: Where They Lead, We Will Follow - Blog Entry17 Apr 2006 06:44 PM I believe the thing that bothered me about the ending of the last season with Rory's rebellion is that it had just been done fairly recently when she had rebelled against her mother for being the voice of reason with her affair with Dean. It didn't make sense that a smart, reasonable girl like Rory would fall into the same trap again. More than Rory, however, Lorelai has been the character who has really seemed out of character this season. I don't buy that an intelligent, spunky woman such as Lorelai would fall for Luke's insanity. At least not this long. I know eventually the dam will break and the writers are attempting to make the conflict more explosive, but enough already! Monster Ballads: Platinum Edition - Blog Entry17 Apr 2006 05:52 PM Oh my goodness! How much fun! Did you know that Sebastian Bach is now a recurring character on Gilmore Girls? He plays Gil and he is FABULOUS! The New Doctor Who - Blog Entry17 Apr 2006 05:50 PM I've been considering adding this to the ever increasing roster of shows I watch. I look forward to you keeping me updated on the progression of the show until I can finally make the plunge! For some reason, I can't find the stars for rating the article, but here are my five stars: ***** ;) What is a "Traditional" Family? - Blog Entry16 Apr 2006 11:04 PM Great, great article. I certainly did not come from a "traditional family" and I have to say that I've only been friends with a select few throughout my life who did come from a traditional family and even those families were plagued with issues that politicians would most certainly gloss over. Likewise, it wasn't until the sitcom, "Roseanne", that I saw anything on television that vaguely resembled what my family was like. |
