I'll be right over! Dinner My Way - Blog Entry28 Apr 2006 11:14 PM Catherine, you should check out these diy dinner places, but they are not classes, per se, because you are on your own. It was kind of like cooking in someone else's very well-organized kitchen. I did learn some new recipes, though! Legitimate Work at Home Opportunity: Writing - Blog Entry14 Apr 2006 03:41 PM I agree writing at home can be a great experience, but having been in the trenches for close to 20 years, people have to understand that the rejection rate for books is probably 98 percent and that even accomplished authors regularly get rejected. This is not a business for the faint of heart. It takes an innate talent and a lot of hard work, but it well worth it when it works out. Healthy Fast Food Part 1: Wendy's - Blog Entry14 Apr 2006 05:10 AM Frostie = 480 calories (but some things are worth it!) 2nd Nephi -- Stopping the Bullet - Blog Entry13 Apr 2006 01:59 AM Here's my favorite Mormon joke: St. Peter's walking past a big building with a newcomer to heaven. I signed up for a sprint-distance triathlon in June, so I'm training like crazy just so I don't completely humiliate myself. I think your idea is a much better way to find motivation! Low Fat Corn and Shrimp Chowder - Blog Entry09 Apr 2006 10:08 PM I'm not sure how the soup base would do in the crockpot, but my main concern would be that the shrimp would get tough and the red peppers would be mushy. Too bad, because I would make everything in a slow cooker if I could! The Healing Balm of Laughter - Blog Entry07 Apr 2006 06:34 AM I looooove Robert Kirby's work. (And Robert Kirby himself is a pretty great guy.) He makes me laugh like none other. I think he's so funny because he's had to walk on the dark side in his work as a police officer and because he's lived in Springville, UT for so long. You'd have to grow a sense of humor to survive either of those things! Laura Torres Food and Family Fun Blogger lauratorres.com You and Your Refrigerator - Blog Entry20 Mar 2006 06:21 AM I thought I was the only one with a cold storage unit rather than a refrigerator. Leftovers go in....and they often don't come out for a while. I'm recommitted to cleaning out my fridge! |
