I wouldn't see this movie, not because it's sad, but because it was boring (and way too long) and the acting was bad. The dogs were great and ubercute, but I had to make myself stay awake.

Cast iron skillets are not too expensive. A decent-size one from Target costs around $20.00, which is the low end. I see cast-iron skillets at garage sales all the time for really cheap. Don't hesitate to pick up one because they last forever and you can clean up an old one.

What a cute idea! I've never heard of that game.

My kids like to make pom poms and then glue on wiggly eyes and felt feet to give to friends.

The cat in the picture is very fat and lazy. She will stick her arm out for this toy is it gets close enough, though!

If you spend $15.00 on yarn for a beautiful scarf you knit yourself, that's money better spent than $10.00 on a scarf from the store, in my humble opinion.

I love watching the clean reality shows with my kids. We have the best discussions--I especially like the ones that are based on talent, like Project Runway or the Apprentice. There are so few shows that are even decent anymore and not all about sex, so I appreciate these shows.

Some schools around the country do have rules about what you can bring in, so be sure to bring cupcakes only if the teacher has asked you, or if you get the OK. Also, many schools and classes have guidelines about bringing in potential allergens. My son is in a class with a boy with severe nut allergies, so peanut butter sandwiches or anything with nuts is strictly verboten.
