My husband asked to look at it and was really interested to see the guy who I was with before him. I keep the photos not only because of the ex but because it reminds be of a time in my life when I was really soul searching and living in Bali. The photos make me smile about my life at that time...my husband isnt the jealous type and is fine with it. Babies in the News: Japan's Baby Mail Box - Blog Entry06 Jan 2008 04:25 AM I just want to nit pick.....Im sorry..... I live in Japan and Abortion certainly is NOT widely accepted here. Unfortunately I speak from experience. I fell pregnant while in an unhealthy relationship and decided to abort but found it extremely difficult to even find some where that would do it for me. I eventually did and the doctor performed the op under very mild sedation after putting sticks (!!! I kid you not!!!) into my cervix to dilate it. I felt the entire op....but that another story... There isnt alot of information on how to deal with new borns and how your life changes after a baby here so it is no wonder that women are finding they cant cope and feel like they need to hand over their children. I have a 9 month old now born here and its been difficult to get any help even from doctors.... Let's Talk About Pregnancy Intuition 1 - Blog Entry06 Jan 2007 08:36 PM I knew I was pregnant about a week before my period was due. I took a test because I was too impatient to wait and it came back very faintly positive. I took myself off to the doctor who told me that I couldnt possibly know and when he took a test he was really shocked. They gave me a scan and the embryo hadnt even embedded yet! Im now 7 months and having a boy! ( I thought it was a girl...) Let's Talk About Handling Unwanted Belly Touching - Blog Entry06 Jan 2007 08:22 PM I must admit, I was a toucher and now being pregnant I understand not wanting to be touched by strangers....however Im pretty excited about being pregnant and I really dont mind people touching my belly at all but it all depends on the day and my mood..... Let's Talk About Handling Unwanted Belly Comments - Blog Entry06 Jan 2007 08:16 PM I live in Japan where the women tend to carry differently to western women. They look like they all carry low and wide and dont put on alot of weight. It is actually recommended to only put on about 5kg to 10kg being the max. Im small in stature (155cm) and they are constantly making extremely rude comments on my belly. I havent put on huge amounts of weight....Im normal at about 7kg at 7 months but Im all out front and very round anf high. They constantly say are you due this week? Or are you having twins or triplets? Last time I just said yes, Im only 2 months with quads. They didnt get the joke and they continued to tell me how enormous I was. Even my mother in law gets in on the act ( my husband is Japanese ) she giggles everytime she sees me and says that I look like a whale.....NOT VERY FUNNY.... |
