This adventure by Disney begins with your arrival in Los Angeles. You’re met by an Adventures by Disney representative who escorts you to your transfer vehicle. The driver will assist with your luggage and then escort you to your hotel. You’ll meet your Adventure Guide at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel where you’ll be within walking distance of places like Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the Kodak Theatre and Hollywood & Highland Center, a shopping and entertainment center. Your Welcome Dinner that evening will be at Trastevere Ristorante where you’ll play a fun game of Disney trivia and enjoy a delicious Italian dinner.
On day two, you’ll experience a backstage tour of the El Capitan Theatre which was lovingly restored as a venue for Disney films and live shows. Then you’ll visit the former Masonic temple where Jimmy Kimmell tapes his popular late night talk show. While exploring this historic theater, you’ll hear some of the inside stories about the day-to-day excitement involved in producing a nightly show packed with celebrity guests and music acts. Prior to lunch, you’ll also visit The Jim Henson Company Studio for a tour. This studio was built in 1917 by Charlie Chaplin and is now the home of The Jim Henson Company. You’ll enjoy a privately guided VIP tour including a video history of the company as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Your visit will end with lunch at the studio’s private café. On the trip back to the hotel, you’ll drive by some of Hollywood’s most famous landmarks. After such a full day, you’ll have the evening to yourself to relax or enjoy the area on your own.
On day three, you’ll be going to DisneyLand to tour Walt Disney Imagineering and see how the magic of Disney is made. You’ll then have lunch at the Walt Disney Studio commissary and enjoy some free time to browse the Studio Store. After lunch, you’ll have a privately guided tour where you’ll learn the story of the Walt Disney Studio. After your tour, you’ll be checking into Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland Park, Disney’s California Adventure and the Downtown Disney District. You’ll have free time after checking in to relax a bit prior to the Welcome Reception at the Wine Cellar and Hook’s Pointe. There you’ll sample appetizers and then dine on family fare at this pirate-themed restaurant. After dinner you’ll spend the evening enjoying Disneyland Park at your own pace.
Day four will begin with an all-you-can-eat character breakfast at Plaza Inn in the Disneyland Park. After breakfast, you’ll have a VIP custom tour of Disneyland Park where you’ll discover the backstage secrets of Disneyland. You’ll visit areas in this tour that are off limits to other guests. Your lunch break will be spent at Café Orleans. After lunch, you’ll continue your tour including a privately guided tour of Walt Disney’s Apartment. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be spent on your own at either Disneyland Park or Disney’s California Adventure Park. The VIP experience includes FASTPASS service and reserved prime viewing for the afternoon parade.
Day five will begin at Disney’s California Adventure with a character buffet breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen. You’ll continue the fun with a VIP Tour of Disney’s California Adventure Park before it opens to regular guests. Lunch and the rest of the afternoon will be spent on your own at Disneyland. Dinner will be a farewell dinner at the Vineyard Room at the Golden Vine Winery in Disney’s California Adventure Park. Then you’ll get a great view of the fireworks as the grand finale of your Disneyland adventure.
Day six begins with a character breakfast at Storytellers Café in your hotel. Your guides will then handle your luggage and arrange for your transportation to Los Angeles International Airport.
