Adventures By Disney: US Mid Atlantic

Your adventure begins when you arrive in Philadelphia. You’ll be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will assist with your luggage and take you to your hotel, The Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing. Your guide will check you in and you can relax until your welcome reception and dinner where you’ll meet your fellow adventurers and Benjamin Franklin!

On the second day, you’ll travel to Independence Hall where a local expert will share in-depth knowledge about the historic sites in America’s former capital. In addition to Independence Hall, you’ll see the Liberty Bell, take a trolley tour, visit the Franklin Court Printing Shop, see the National Constitution Center, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the home of Edgar Allan Poe and even sink your teeth into a real Philly cheese steak (a gastronomic delight not to be missed). Dinner will be on your own with your family but your Adventure Guides will be happy to help you find the perfect place.

On day three, you’ll board a motorcoach for a morning drive to Washington, DC. You’ll lunch at the ESPN Zone and then mount up for a leisurely bike tour around the National Mall. You’ll see the Capitol Building, the Washington Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and plenty of other interesting stops along the way. After all that fun, you’ll check into L’Enfant Plaza and have time to relax a bit before dinner on the Georgetown waterfront.

Day four will lead you to the Iwo Jima Monument where a local expert will guide your group through this and other landmarks. You’ll also visit Arlington National Cemetery before having a lunch barbeque at Columbia Island Marina. That evening you’ll be on your own to explore Washington, DC, and have dinner with your family.

On the fifth day, you’ll take an excursion to Mount Vernon, the country home of America’s first president, George Washington. Lunch will be at Mount Vernon Inn where you’ll be able to enjoy décor straight out of the 18th century, staff in authentic period attire and authentic colonial recipes. You’ll have more time in the afternoon and evening to do some exploring on your own and have dinner with your family.

On day six, you’ll travel to Williamsburg and visit the National Zoo. Then you’ll check in to The Great Wolf Lodge, a wilderness-themed resort featuring a 67,000 square-foot indoor water park with a wave pool, play area and eight exciting waterslides. You can then enjoy dinner on your own before screening a Disney film.

On the seventh day you’ll travel back in time to Colonial Williamsburg. You’ll lunch at the King’s Arms Tavern and then explore the city of Williamsburg on your own. For dinner you’ll have a farewell cookout with your fellow adventurers.

On the eighth day you’ll enjoy breakfast at your hotel before taking your transfer to the Richmond Airport.

Rates for this adventure vary by season from $1,599 to $2,399 per adult and are less for children.
