Applesauce Meat Loaf
Super easy meatloaf recipe that gets more fruit in your kids diets without them even guessing! Serve with mashed potatoes for a hearty and healthy meal. To make even a more guilt-free version substitute ground turkey for the ground beef and sugar substitute for the brown sugar.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 tbs minced onion
2 slices dry toast, cubed
3/4 cup applesauce
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs ketchup
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients except sugar and ketchup in a large mixing bowl.
2. Press beef mixture into bottom of baking dish or into a loaf pan.
3. Combine sugar and ketchup. Spread over beef in baking dish.
4. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

Cook: 40 minutes
