Asparagus Apps
An extremely easy to make appetizer, even the kids could do this one!
INGREDIENTS:
18 spears cooked asparagus
18 slices white bread, crusts removed
2 tbs French dressing
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 pinch seasoned salt
6 tbs melted butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine mayonnaise, Frenc dressing, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
2. Spread each slice of bread with mayonnaise.
3. Place one asparagus spear on bread. Roll up the bread jelly roll style and secure with toothpick. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
4. When ready to serve, remove toothpicks and place rolls on a lightly greased baking sheet.
5. Brush with melted butter, and broil until lightly browned.
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 5 minutes
