Baby Making–Hollywood Style

While the rest of the world is counting down the days until Sex and the City hits the big screen the film’s star Sarah Jessica Parker is counting down the days until she can hit the sack with husband Matthew Broderick and work on adding to their family of three.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Parker and Broderick have plans to take the summer off and dedicate some serious time to make a new brother or sister for their 5-year-old son James Wilkie.

Broderick told the paper, “In the summer, we’ll leave town and we’ll unwind and go to Long Island and probably Ireland. We’re pretty open for the rest of the summer.”

When asked if a new baby was in the works, Broderick added, “I hope so.”

The Broderick clan will reportedly leave New York as soon as Parker completes the promotional tour for Sex and the City.

Will Parker have good news to share with the world by the time Labor Day rolls around?

We’ll have to wait and see, but don’t count on hearing any more baby news from actress Angela Kinsey… at least for a few months.

The Office star just gave birth to a baby daughter three days ago.

According to Kinsey’s rep, the actress and her husband, TV writer Warren Lieberstein are proud new parents to 6 lb., 14 oz., Isabel Ruby Lieberstein, who was born at 12:50 p.m. Saturday.

But just because Kinsey has her hands full with her newborn now doesn’t mean she isn’t looking ahead at making baby Isabel a big sister one day. The actress made no secret of the fact that she had difficulty conceiving and says she doesn’t plan to wait too long before trying for baby No. 2.

Actor James Caviezel could give Kinsey tips on parenting two kids close in age. The Passion of the Christ star and his wife Kerri Bowitt recently became parents for the second time when they adopted a 5-year-old girl from the Guangszhou region in China. According to the actor, his new daughter has a brain tumor much like his 3-year-old son Bo, who the couple also adopted from China in 2007.

The actor says Bo is recovering from surgeries and has been given a good prognosis. Caviezel says he hopes his new daughter can share the same fate.

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old movie hunk also revealed that he and his wife were offered a healthy baby girl but decided that a healthy child had more chances of being adopted by another family.

“We took the harder road,” Caviezel noted. “That is what faith is to me; it’s action. It’s the Samaritan. It’s not the one who says he is; it’s the one who does -and does without bringing attention to himself. I’m saying this because I want to encourage other people.”
