Baked Beans and Pineapple
This dish loves to be served with baked chicken!
INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup chopped onions
14 oz deep browned beans in tomato sauce
19 oz red kidney beans
1 cup crushed pineapple
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbs instant bacon bits
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat the oil in saucepan. Add onions and sauté slowly until limp. Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
2. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Stir to mix.
3. Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours until bubbly. Stir once or twice during baking.
