Baked Vanilla Cheesecake

Baked Vanilla Cheesecake
Don’t buy an air freshner, bake this cake instead!

INGREDIENTS:
1 2/3 cup All-purpose flour
2 tbs Sugar
1 Pinch salt
1 large Egg
1/2 cup Butter, cut in small pieces
4 tbs Ice water
1 tbs Butter
1 1/2 lb Cream cheese
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1/4 cup Oil
5 Drops vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup Milk
3 large Eggs; separated

DIRECTIONS:
1. Sift flour and salt into a large bowl.
2. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until evenly distributed and mixture resembles breadcrumbs. 3. With a fork, lightly mix in 2 tbs sugar, 1 egg and enough ice water to make a dough.
4. Press into a ball and wrap in foil or plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 350. On a floured surface, roll out dough to fit a springform pan. Place dough in pan.
6. Beat cream cheese, oil, sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch, vanilla and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
7. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour into pastry shell.
8. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cook: 60 minutes
